Care Instructions

Care instructions vary depending on what type of material your hat is made out of. We've collated instructions for Leather and Suede hats below.

Caring for Leather Hats

Leather is a natural material, which is sensitive to heat and moisture.

We advise investing in a leather moisturizer and regularly treating your hat to keep it in top-notch condition.

Storing your leather hat in its Adventure Travel Bag for extended periods isn't ideal. Optimal storage involves laying it flat on its brim.

Avoid subjecting your leather hat to extreme heat, such as leaving it under the rear window of your car on hot days.

You can find cleaning and care products for your leather hat at nearby shoe repair or care shops. Bringing your hat along will help determine the most suitable product based on its leather type.

Caring for Suede Hats

We suggest giving your suede hat a weekly cleaning to prevent dirt buildup and maintain its excellent condition.

Regular use of a suede brush is crucial for your hat. Brushing it weekly will effectively remove dirt and prevent the suede nap from matting.

Keep your suede hat away from liquids to prevent shrinking or deformation. However, when cleaning your hat, it's permissible to wet it. If your hat does get wet, shake off any excess liquid and allow it to dry completely before wearing it again.

Consider using suede and nubuck waterproofing sprays available in the market to safeguard your hat. Prioritize following the instructions on the waterproofing product, ensuring it's designed for suede use. Always perform a patch test on a small area before applying it to the entire hat.
